Augusta, GA --Mr. Rudolph Ahron McCaslan, 86, husband of 67 years to Mrs. Camille Crook McCaslan, entered into rest on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at University Hospital.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Allen Danner officiating.
Native of Augusta, Mr. McCaslan served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He made firefighting a career and retired from Augusta Fire Department after 25 years of service. Shortly following, he continued his worker with Gracewood State School and Hospital for 17 years.
Additional survivors are his one daughter, Miriam M. Weathersbee of Augusta; two grandchildren Daniel M. Weathersbee (Susan) of Lexington Park, MD, Joy E. Clark of Augusta; three great grandchildren, Nathan Weathersbee, Rebecca Weathersbee, Bethany Weathersbee.
Firefighters with the Augusta¬-Richmond County Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
