Susan Still

Mrs. Susan H. Still, beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph M. Still, Jr MD entered into rest on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Platt’s Belair Road chapel with the Rev. Charles Broome officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service time. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Still was an RN for over 20 years at Doctor’s Hospital where she became the first burn head nurse. She was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Harlem. She loved her family and her pets. She raised exotic birds and was an advocate for their care and treatment. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a kind woman with a selfless heart.
She is survived by her children; Ronda Still (Steve), Gena McNair (Jeff), Trey Nevils (Julie), Eddie Still (Mary Lou), Jesse Still (Jill), Susan Kilrain (Colin), Ken Still (Paige) and Donna Simon, her grandchildren; Bret, Lacy, Lina, Sam, Jackson, Carlie, Dalton, Austin, Alex, Addison, Olivia, Andy, Briana, Cody, Connor, Quinn, Sean, Liam, Maura, Ashley, McCain, Blake, Luke, Zeke, Zain, Emileah and Sara, as well as 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Dr. Joseph M. Still Jr, she was also preceded in death by her parents B.L. and Margie Harbeson of Augusta and a brother, Bennie Harbeson.
Pallbearers will be loving friends and representatives of the JMS Burn Centers; Juan Colon-Santini MD, Keith Donker, Michael Wheeler, Charles Gertler, Paul Coffman and Tom Dorn.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Philadelphia United Methodist Church Busy Bee’s
