Evans – Miss Sybol Alene Norman, 88, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Trinity Hospital.

The family will gather at the graveside for a private family service on Friday May 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM.

Miss Norman was born in Pittsburgh, Illinois on October 26, 1923 to Thomas and Anna Mae Norman. She was previously a resident of Lansing, Michigan, and worked for Tranter, Inc. for 36 years. Since 1985, Miss Norman has lived in Martinez. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church, and was involved in the Baptist Morning Mission Group, a class officer of the Abilene Senior Sunday School and a member of the Wimberly Ceramics Club.

She is survived by her sister, Robneita Pollard and her husband, William of Tucson, a niece, Nanette Finney of Tucson, her nephews Michael Pollard and his wife, Sue, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Delbert Pollard of Tucson, a special friend and neighbor, Judy LaPierre of Martinez, and many loved grandnieces and grandnephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Peacock, Jim Baucom, Allan Garst, Delbert Graves, Charlie Smith and Lee LaPierre.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abilene Baptist Church Building Fund, 3917 Washington Rd., Martinez, GA 30907.
