Thomas Lamar Frost Jr.

Mr. Thomas Lamar Frost, Jr., beloved husband of Peggy Ann Frost, entered into rest on Monday, October 31, 2022 at his home after a 16 year illness.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Terry Newsome officiating, with the assistance of Rev. Oscar Whiteside. Althea Newsome will provide vocals.

Mr. Frost was a life long resident of Augusta. He attended the Academy Of Richmond and graduated in the class of 1968. He was a contractor welder and attended the Greater Augusta Apostolic Church. He’ll be remembered as a devoted family man who loved the Lord.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by a brother, Randy Christopher Frost (Paula), sisters in law, Kathy Elaine Saunders and Jeannie Rebecca Presley (Dale), brothers in law, Jack Elton Lowe and Felton Lowe Jr., as well as 9 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Montine Frost and a son, Thomas Lamar Frost III.

The family would like to give special thanks the Enhabit Hospice team, Rev. Oscar Whiteside, James “Jimmy” Lowe and his special aunt Mary.
