Thomas Patrick "Pat" Brown, Jr.

Thomas Patrick “Pat” Brown, Jr., 52, beloved husband of Kelly Goodwin Brown, entered into rest on Sunday, April 11, 2021.

A celebration of Pat’s life will take place at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Stevens Creek Church with Dr. Marty Baker and Pastor Mo Huggins officiating. The casket will lie in state from 1:30 until service time. The family will receive friends in the church atrium following the service until 3:30 PM. Interment will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Sandy Run Cemetery in Hampton, SC.

Pat was born in Hampton, SC and graduated from Wade Hampton High School and USC Aiken with an accounting degree. He had recently retired from John Deere after 30 years. Pat was a faithful member of Stevens Creek Church and loved to volunteer. He was also a member of the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and had served on the Executive Board of Directors. Pat will be missed by his family and the many in the community that loved him.

In addition to his wife, Pat is survived by his mother, Louise McAlhaney Brown; his son, Chris Brown; his stepdaughters, Miranda and Meghan Whitfield; his sister, Nancy Meyer (Mike); and nephew, Josh Meyer. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas “Tommy” Patrick Brown, Sr.
