Mrs. Victoria “Vickie” Resnick Williams, of North Augusta, SC, born August 13th, 1945, departed this life on March 6th, 2022. She will be remembered as the matriarch of the family. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by and serving her family. Her final days were spent caring for her husband of 55 years, Johnny Morris Williams.
In addition to her husband, Vickie is survived by her children Heather Sox (Wade), Dean M Williams (Karena), and her grandchildren Steven Sox (Melissa), Camryn Sox, Carson Williams, Brock Williams and Dean M Williams, Jr. . She was anxiously awaiting the upcoming arrival of her first great grandchild, Sunny Sox. She had many cousins that she loved like siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that were adored as her own children.
Vickie was most known for her giving spirit. She would give away the shirt off her back if someone else was in need. If she did not have the means to get something that someone else was in need of, she would use her incredible determination and resourcefulness to make it happen. Vickie was also known for giving those around her the gift of her advice. There was no question that if you were the recipient of this, you were fiercely loved. She was clothed with strength, dignity, and a heart full of love for God and her family.
Vickie spent many of her early years as an in-home childcare provider and her later career assisting the families and children at Fitz-Symms Photography. She took great pride in caring for her extended families. After her retirement she showered her three adopted dogs—Belle, Dale, and Barbie—with lots of love.
Vickie was preceded in death by her mother, Haroldine Murphey; her father, Jack Resnick; sisters Judy Resnick Wyatt, Joanne Ford Napier; aunts and uncles,
June Elizabeth & Frank Sanders as well as Alice Jacqueline & Delbert Thompson
