William Billy Boatwright, Jr.

William “Billy” Newstead Boatwright, Jr., 56, entered into rest on Saturday, February 24, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Frankie May officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until service time.

Billy Boatwright was a beloved son, husband, brother, and friend. He was a talented musician and builder; he was generous and sincere; and he would have wanted us to say that he was unique, just like everybody else. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa C. Boatwright; his mother, Nancy Conlan Boatwright; his siblings, Mark T. Boatwright, and Juliana Boatwright Taylor (Allen); and by his nieces and nephews, Samuel Conlan Taylor, Connor Taylor, Caroline Taylor, Joseph Natoli, Jacqueline Natoli, Kali Smith, and Elissa Smith.
