William Henry Horton

Augusta, GA – William Henry Horton, 91, husband of the late Elizabeth Horton, entered into rest on Thursday, November 6, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Bethany Chapel with Bill Gustofson officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mr. Horton retired from DuPont after 33 years at Savannah River Site. He served in the U.S. Army and was a proud WWII veteran. Mr. Horton was a member of Bethany Chapel and was involved in missionary work for many years.

Survivors include one son; Robert Horton of Springboro, OH, two brothers; Bill Horton, Fred Horton, one sister; Mitia Key, son-in-law; Mark Newman, and two grandchildren; Jillian Newman, Callie Newman. Mr. Horton was preceded in death by his son; Bruce Horton, and his daughter; Jane Newman.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
