William Bruce Nunnallee

William Bruce Nunnallee, 73 of Grovetown, GA passed away December 18, 2024. He was born February 5, 1951 in Flora, Illinois to James Merle and Geneva Nunnallee. He was a 1969 graduate of Flora High School.

 Bruce was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1969, where he served as a Graphic Illustrator Instructor and Army Recruiter. He retired as Sergeant First Class after serving 20 years. He then worked in various civilian positions at Savannah River Site and SME CPA. Bruce was an avid reader, bicyclist, and softball player. He served as captain of the 1979 U.S. Army Europe championship softball team. 

 Bruce was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nida Catalbas; his children, Brian (April) Nunnallee and Michelle Nunnallee, and his grandchildren: Brice Nunnallee, Kate Nunnallee, and Jake Boatright, Jr.. He is also survived by his sisters Jeanie Leathers, Janice Warren and brother Mike Nunnallee. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Geneva Nunnallee, stepfather Lowell Leathers, sister Nancy Nunnallee Beebe, and brother, Tim Nunnallee.
