Yolanda Valdés, 86, of Grovetown, passed away on November 13, 2022 in Grovetown, Georgia.
Yolanda was born in Santiago de Chile to Florentino Valdés and Orfilia Veas on January 19, 1936. In 1956, she married Enrique D’Alençon and they had 3 children.
She worked at the Banco Central de Chile retiring after 25 years. Yolanda was a devoted wife and mother. On November 15, 1980, Yolanda and her family was baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her father Florentino Valdés , mother Orfilia Veas, brother Hernán Valdés and daughter Lorena Smith.
Yolanda is survived by her husband Enrique D’Alençon, son Enrique (Mindy)D’Alençon, daughter Paulina Cassidy. Yolanda leaves 7 Grandchildren behind, Enrique D’Alençon, Michael Smith, Sergio D’Alençon, Oscar D’Alençon, Alexandria Cassidy, Alex D’Alençon and Veronica Smith and 2 great grandchildren Oscar D’Alençon Jr and Roman Smith.
The family of Yolanda wishes to thank all her family, friends, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and Crescent Hospice for the care and support received during these difficult times.
