Donald "Donny" Rogers, Jr.

Donald Jackson “Donny” Rogers, Jr., 50, entered into rest on October 7, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Mark Joyner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until service time.

Donny was a graduate of USC Aiken with earned degrees in business and education and also played on the soccer team. Soccer was his passion, and he was the founder of the TST Soccer Program. Donny was the former coach of the Lakeside High School girls soccer team and the Greenbrier High School boys and girls soccer teams respectfully. He was the owner of Beach Medical Wellness Centers. Donny will be remembered for his infectious personality and sense of humor.

Donny is survived by his children, Donald Jackson “Jake” Rogers, III of Liverpool, England and Mayci Lee Rogers of Grovetown, GA; his parents, Donald Rogers, Sr. and Marie Peirce Rogers of Martinez, GA; his brothers, Joe Rogers (Tara) of Lexington, SC, John Rogers (Michelle) of Appling, GA and Jimmy Rogers (Anne) of North Augusta, SC; his sisters, Lee Anne Szigeti (Michael) of Burlington, NC, Charmane Joiner (Tommy) of Martinez, GA, Heather Kitchens (Michael) of Grovetown, GA, Lynda Painter (Jeff) of Chickamauga, GA and Brenda Holsomback (Johnny) of Ringgold, GA; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Milliken Rogers.
