Kay Singleton

Martinez, GA---Mrs. Kay Singleton, 85, wife of the late William B. Singleton, entered into rest on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Road Chapel with Reverend Chris Williford officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Kay’s greatest joy was being with her family. She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was able to remain independent with the loving help of her entire family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her parents, Lake E. and Carrie C. Gilbert and three brothers, Dwight, Lewis and William Gilbert.
Kay is survived by her son, Eddie Singleton (Rachel), daughter, Deana Alexander (Jim), brother, F.E. Gilbert (Chenin), sister, Jeanie Gilbert, grandchildren, Michael Singleton, Kari Ingram, Ryan Evans, Daniel Evans Sr., Aimee Jones, and nine great grandchildren and her cousin, Nina Moore, who always made her laugh.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Evans Sr., Daniel Evans Jr., Fred Ingram III, Nicholas Ingram, Bryson Singleton, Nathan Jones. Honorary pallbearer, Nathaniel Jones.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 10:00 am until the time of service, at Platt’s Belair Road.
